A message about phishing, from us to you.
Stay safe online! Here is an alert from The Real Gryphon Team.
Phishing
Phishing is a type of cyberattack where scammers try to trick you into giving up personal info—like your passwords, credit card numbers, or login details—by pretending to be someone you trust. They often use fake emails, messages, or websites that look real.
Their goal? To steal your money, access your accounts, or install malware on your device.
Here are 4 signs you're dealing with a scam related to The Real Gryphon:
🔺 Urgent or threatening messages – Like “Your account will be closed!” or “Act now to claim your prize!”
🔺 Weird links or sender addresses – Hover over links to check. If it doesn’t say realgryphon.com, don’t trust it.
🔺 Requests for sensitive info – Legit companies (including us!) will never ask for passwords or payment info over email or DMs.
🔺 Bad spelling or grammar – Sloppy writing = red flag.
💥 Important Reminder:
The Real Gryphon will NEVER contact you from an email domain other than realgryphon.com or any subdomains (e.g. email.realgryphon.com)
